CityU students earn two national prizes at the “Huawei Cup” The 22nd China Post-Graduate Contest in Modeling
The results of the “Huawei Cup” The 22nd China Post-Graduate Contest in Modeling have been officially announced. Two teams from the Faculty of Data Science (FDS) at the City University of Macau (CityU) achieved remarkable success in this competitive event, securing a national second prize and a national third prize under the guidance of Professor Zhu Tianqing, Associate Professor Liu Wenjian and Assistant Professor Zhang.The national second prize was awarded to a team of three doctoral students—Du Yaoqiang, Chen Yuli, and Huang Zhenxing—for their entry titled “Low-Altitude Turbulence Monitoring and Optimal Route Planning”. The national third prize was earned by another team of three master’s students—Zhang Xuanke, Zhu Ziyang, and Jin Jiamin—with their project titled “Research on Intelligent Fault Diagnosis for High-Speed Train Bearings.”
