MOE China Center for International People-to-People Exchange delegation visits CityU to promote exchange and collaboration

The “Cultural Exchange Ambassadors” program, organized by the Macao SAR Government Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) in collaboration with the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange (CCIPE) of the Ministry of Education (MOE), was recently held at the Cultural Centre at the Taipa Campus of the City University of Macau (CityU). To further enhance cooperation, CCIPE Director Yu Changxue led a delegation on a visit to CityU, where they received a warm welcome from Rector Jun Liu. The delegation toured the campus and teaching facilities and engaged in in-depth discussions.

Rector Jun Liu provided an overview of the University, highlighting its initiative to deepen collaboration with mainland universities while expanding the global network in higher education. He emphasized Macao’s unique position as a platform for exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, which could promote academic collaboration, cultural exchange and an open and international educational environment.

Going forward, both parties aim to deepen their cooperation and create more high-quality cultural exchange programs. They seek to leverage Macao’s advantages and CityU’s international approach to enhance cultural exchange mechanisms and talent cultivation.
