Dr. Danilo Afonso-Henriques, Representative of Timor-Leste of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) visited CityU

On 9th May, Dr. Danilo Afonso-Henriques, Representative of Timor-Leste of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), visited CityU and was warmly received by Rector Shu Guang Zhang and Academic Registrar Sean Li.

The conversation was carried out in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. Rector Zhang and Academic Registrar Li introduced the history, curriculum design as well as current developmental situation about CityU. It is hoped that there will be more students from Timor-Leste studying in our university, strengthening the bridging role of Macau in the Belt and Road Initiative and facilitating the cultural exchange amongst China and the Portuguese-speaking countries.
