On 3 January, Rector Shu Guang Zhang, Secretary General of the University Council, Director of Administrative Division Wicky K.H.So visited Labour Affairs Bureau of Macau SAR to discuss about the potential cooperation between the both sides. The representative was well received by Director Chi Hong Wong, Deputy Director Chan Un Tong, etc. Rector Zhang extended New Year greetings and expressed his appreciation to the Bureau for their concern and support to CityU. During the discussion, Rector Zhang reported the development and current situation of CityU, and looked forward to the cooperation on carrying out research on labor and employment and professional training courses. Director Wong affirmed the philosophy and characteristics of our university and expressed his willingness to build interactive cooperation relationship between both parties in the future. It is hoped that our university will continue to improve education quality and standard and provide a variety of courses for Macau residents to better-equip themselves.
