Theme Exhibition | CityU Holds the “International Universities Joint Exhibition of Visual Art and Architecture Design”

On October 22, the International Universities Joint Exhibition of Visual Art and Architecture Design kicked off at the exhibition hall of the Cultural Centre of CityU. As one of the activity series of "Art Macao" and of CityU's "Double Celebration" for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR, this exhibition was co-organized by CityU and six domestic and overseas universities and lasted until October 28.

The guests witnessing the opening of the exhibition included Acting Director Cheng Wai Tong of the Macau Government Tourist Office, Deputy Director Gou Renmin of the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Director Lei Lai Kio of the Department of Exhibitions and Museums of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Chief Wong Ut Peng of the Assistance Department of College and University Students of the Tertiary Education Services Office, and leaders and representatives from Hefei University of Technology, Jilin University of Arts, Shenzhen University, Nanjing University of the Arts, Beijing Jiaotong University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, Zhuhai Art College, and University of Texas, Arlington. Vice Rector Kong Fanqing of CityU addressed the opening ceremony.

This exhibition is conducive to the collision and integration of the culture of Macao, CityU and other exhibiting colleges and universities, igniting multiple creative ideas of artistic designing, inspiring students' enthusiasm for learning, promoting cultural exchanges between Macao students and domestic and overseas students, and becoming an important platform for students to improve their comprehensive design ability.
