City U and BLCU sign Memorandum of Understanding and Letter of Appointment for Visiting Professors at Ceremony in Beijing

City University of Macau and Beijing Language and Culture University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the 7th of May. A Letter of Appointment signing ceremony was also held for visiting professors from the Business School of BLCU. The Vice Rector of CityU Kong Fanqing, the Vice Presidentof BLCU Wang Lu Xin, the Dean of Business School of BLCU Liu Ke, the Director of BLCU Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Zhang Baojun, the Deputy Director Lin Jie, and the visiting professors from the Business School of BLCU attended the ceremony.

The Vice Rector of CityU Kong Fanqing gave an overview of the history of the Faculty of Business of CityU and the developmental status of CityU. Professor Kong expressed her wish that more substantive multilateral collaborations will develop between the Faculty of Business of CityU and the Business School of BLCU, such as teaching exchanges, thesis supervisions, student exchanges and research cooperation. Professor Kong expected CityU to gain ever more bountiful experiences in higher education from BLCU, and that the two institutions could make good use of the flexibility of Macau's location so that the two Schools could cooperate on various aspects and reach a win-win situation.

The Vice President of BLCU Wang Lu Xin congratulated those present on signing the MOU, and expressed his thanks to Vice Rector of CityU Kong Fanqing for promoting such cooperation between CityU and BLCU. He expressed his wish that the two universities will collaborate in future in further and more comprehensive ways.

The Vice Rector of CityU Kong Fanqing and the Vice President of BLCU Wang Lu Xin exchanged the MOU during the ceremony. Professor Kong issued the Letter of Appointment to 14 professors from the Business School of BLCU. Professor Kong communicated with the leaders and professors from the Business School of BLCU after the ceremony.
