CityU Macau Students enters Macao Final of Huawei ICT Competition, facing Theoretical and Practical Exams

A total of 15 students at the City University of Macau (CityU Macau) enters the Macao final of an international information and communication technology (ICT) competition. The city’s final will see 72 contestants on 11 December at the Macao Science Center.

The Huawei ICT Competition includes four stages: Macao Preliminary, Macao Final, Region Final and Global Final. It is an exchanges platform for universities students to explore ICT development. It aims to promote the healthy development of the ICT ecosystem and support the integration of industry and education.

Contestants will face theorical exam and practical laboratory exam in the city’s final. Students from CityU Macau who enters the Macao final are:

Undergraduates from Faculty of Data Science: Ma Chenxiao; Jin Yuxin; Zhang Songhao; Wu Haowei; Chen Taozhi; Fang Yunsong; Liu Ziyu; Liu Yunzhi; Zhou Qihe; Xie Jiamin; Wang Jiaxu; Xiang Yuwen;

Master students from Faculty of Data Science: Li Jiahong; Li Shengkun;

Master student from Faculty of Business: He Yu.
