City University of Macau – Charhar Center hosts seminar to offer suggestions for development of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin

The City University of Macau – Charhar Center and the Macao Inter-Regional Public Administration Study Association recently co-organized a seminar on the development and future prospects of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone. T The seminar took place at the Taipa campus and had a total of 50 participants, both online and on-site, including CityU leaders, local officials, as well as management and representatives from local social services and associations. During the seminar, in-depth discussions were conducted on various topics, including talent mobility and industry development, institutional innovation and practices, the development of higher education, social welfare mechanisms in the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN), the introduction of Macao's associations and community services in the zone, the development of the cultural and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industries in the zone, and the provision of cross-border financial services.
