Guo’s design work is a Cantonese-themed canvas bag and notebook, inspired by everyday Cantonese phrases. The main color tone of the product is a vintage dark green, which is derived from the main color of the flag of the Macao SAR and also caters to current trends. The design incorporates both Chinese and English, reflecting the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Macao. Through her design, Guo hopes to promote environmental protection and the diverse culture of Macao. She also aims to inspire the younger generation’s interest in Macao’s unique culture and raise public awareness towards environmental protection by combining popular elements with cultural and creative carriers.
