CityU’s student athletes win championship at “dynamic national games” inter-school tournament

 

The members of the men’s basketball team of City University of Macau (CityU) recently won the championship at the “dynamic national games” inter-school basketball tournament for men’s university teams. The winning team consisted of Desouza Oscarzeferino, Mou Fu Hou, Kwok Ka Tim, and Ku Io Chong, who displayed incredible skills and teamwork in the game.

 

The competition was organized by the Macao SAR Government Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and co-organized by the Preparatory Office for the Macao Competition Zone of the 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and the 9th National Special Olympic Games, was held recently at the Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional. Nearly 300 participants took part in the event.

The “dynamic national games” inter-school tournament aimed to leverage the opportunities presented by the National Games to further promote sports and enhance the exchange and development of sports culture on campus. It created a positive sporting atmosphere for the National Games and provided students with a platform to excel their talents and challenge their limits. In addition, the tournament also highlighted the achievements of sports education at the CityU, inspiring more students to engage in sports training.
