Exchange

City University of Macau is committed to cultivating students’ international perspectives and multi-cultural sensitivity. In recent years, the university has placed strong emphasis and effort in developing international education and exchange and signed Memoranda of Understanding and strategic agreements with universities and organizations from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Portugal and many other countries and regions. These partnerships have enacted substantive progress in international exchange programs, overseas internship programs, and language & immersion programs.

This summer, the university will be launching 2 international exchange programs, one with the New Mexico University, the other with Vancouver Island University. These programs allow students to experience the academic teaching from our university partner and gain firsthand experience in the local culture. This will enhance our students’ English language proficiency, broaden their international perspectives and raise their competitiveness in the international environment upon graduation. The university is also working towards international exchange programs in Australia, New Zealand and Portuguese-speaking countries to provide more choices in destination countries for our students next year. From next year onwards, the university will start to host international exchange students for short-term study. As the internationalization effort progresses, our Masteral and Doctoral students will also have the opportunity to participate in credit transfer courses and research collaborations in our partnership universities.

City University of Macau welcomes collaborative discussions and looks forward to exploring more partnership opportunities with potential partners globally.
