The FITM of City University of Macau encourages students to participate in international academic communicative activities to help them develop a global vision. In the past year, graduate students from FITM-CityU obtained a fruitful representation on the international academic platform through their contributions in various journal publications and conference presentations. Under the supervision of advisors of the Faculty, Haiming Chen, Tao Zheng and Weijun Li from the master program had the opportunity to participate in conferences in New York, Anger (France) and A Coruña (Spain) sponsored by the Macau Foundation. Under diversified academic agreements with many highly regarded colleges and universities, undergraduate students studied abroad as exchange students. Minyi Li and Danlin Ou went to ESC-Troyes, France. International internship opportunities such as the Disney program made it possible for Xuhua Wen, Kalok Lee, Alexander Agoyos and 12 other students to enjoy a real precious chance practicing at Disney Inc. in Florida. Jiaxin Lai, Yueye Liu and three others took a chance at the Culture and Language program of Middlesex University in London, enriching their cultural depth in the process. Their participation in GYLTLC 2015 in Singapore and 50th anniversary of Singapore Independence allowed Shijie Hao, Manwai Lam and six other students from FITM and FED to not only experience the global stage in communication with youth leaders from other countries, but also shared great ideas with each other. As the only UNWTO TedQual certified institution in Macau for its doctoral and master programs, the FITM-CityU is dedicated to students’ international exposure, a strong motivation for them to develop an international vision during their studies at the Faculty.
