The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between City University of Macau (hereinafter referred to as “CityU”) and the New Oriental Education & Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as “New Oriental”), the largest private educational institution in China, was held today (29th). It marks the first cooperation between universities in Hong Kong and Macau with New Oriental, and CityU becomes the first university in Hong Kong and Macau to reach strategic cooperation with New Oriental. With a tremendous air of sincerity and expectancy, the two sides will work closely together in further education planning, language education and testing, and teacher training in the future, thus benefiting the further education of students and the professional career of teachers from Hong Kong and Macau.

The signing of this Memorandum adheres to the principle of mutual benefit, win-win outcomes and common development, with a view to establishing a strategic cooperative relationship.
