As a place where Eastern and Western cultures meet, Macao has experienced rapid economic growth since its return to the motherland. The people's livelihood has improved, and the city has maintained social stability since the handover in 1999.
Today, the City University of Macau (CityU Macau) held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. Students of City U Macau have prepared poetry recitations to commemorate the anniversary of the handover, expressing their love for the country and Macao, passing their patriot spirits to the next generation, and embracing a brighter future for Macao.
