Chair Professor Lixian Jin discusses “Intercultural Learning in Planetization” at annual conference of China Association for Intercultural Communication

Chair Professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at City University of Macau, Lixian Jin, delivered a keynote addressing “Intercultural Learning in Planetization” at the 17th annual conference of China Association for Intercultural Communication. The conference themed at “promoting international understanding: intercultural education and international communication” involved in-person and virtual elements.

In her address, Prof Jin said that Intercultural Education and International Communication led to the realisation of Planetization. “Through communication, we understand, appreciate and co-exist with each other to achieve the common development of mankind,” she said. By engaging various case studies in her address, Prof Jin suggested that people could work together to create shared cultures of learning by applying cross-cultural learning approaches.
