Shanghai University of Finance and Economics visits CityU to promote higher education collaboration and exchange

A delegation from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) led by vice president Li Zhengquan visited City University of Macau (CityU) today and was received by Rector Jun Liu. The SUFE delegation toured the Taipa Campus and facilities, followed by a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a student exchange agreement. Discussions focused on academic exchange, curriculum development, and talent cultivation.

Rector Jun Liu highlighted CityU’s history, strengths, and unique academic programs. Vice President Li Zhengquan presented SUFE’s development and expressed a hope to collaborate with CityU on cultivating talent in finance and commerce. Both institutions shared their expertise and experiences in developing finance, accounting, and legal studies programs. They also discussed the possibility of joint summer programs, which would provide opportunities for students to study in a different city and allow mainland students to experience Macao’s successful implementation of “one country, two systems.”
