Chief of Hong Kong and Macau Basic Law Office of NPCSC Yang Zhao Ye and his delegation visited CityU on 15 June, and were warmly received by Rector Shu Guang Zhang, Pro-Rector Ip Kuai Peng, Secretary General of Council Robert Chan, Chief of Courses at Faculty of Law Li Hong Jiang and other university leaders. They visited the university campus and teaching facilities, after which a discussion was conducted. During the discussion, Rector Zhang expressed his heartfelt welcome to the guests. He introduced the higher education system in Macau as well as the development and prospect of CityU. Chief Yang thanked the warm welcome by CityU and affirmed the ethos and characteristics of our university. He praised the developmental strategies and steady growth of CityU in recent years. Both parties are looking forward to establishing a decent collaboration system for future cooperation. The guests of the delegation also include Deputy Director of Hong Kong and Macau Basic Law Office of NPCSC Ceng Jun Rong, Cadre Wu Jun, Deputy Director of the Culture and Education Department of LOCPG Li Yong Xian and Assistant of Organizational Communication Department Liu Bing Cai.
