On the afternoon of 2nd December 2013, Prof. Su-Seng Pang, Acting Rector of the City University of Macau (CUM), and Dr Gavin Chau, Associate Dean of Faculty of Management of CUM made a visit to Nanning University (NU), China and signed a cooperation memorandum with the university. Representatives from the NU including Mr Xue Qin Zheng, Principal of NU; Mr Xu Guang Wen, Vice Rector of NU; Miss Hai Yan Chen, Director of the International Exchange Centre of NU; and Miss Li Huang, Dean of the Faculty of Management of NU, gave a cordial reception to Prof. Pang and Dr Chau, and showed them round the campus.
During their visit, Prof. Pang and Dr Chau introduced the history and development of CUM. Also, the Principal and the Vice Rector of NU talked about the development of the university and their cooperation with institutions in Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia. Both parties showed great confidence in the prospective cooperation between two institutions.
During the meeting, CUM and NU signed a cooperation memorandum, which has signified the academic partnership between two institutions, including student exchange, academic exchange, research cooperation, conference co-organisation, etc..
