Recently, the various institutions of higher education in Hong Kong have been under varying degrees of influence of the tense situation, and the learning environment of students affected.
Macao has always implemented the policy of "One Country, Two Systems" and assumed the constitutional responsibility of safeguarding national sovereignty and security. CityU is vigorously supporting the contingency mechanism of the government of the Macao SAR and the Tertiary Education Services Office for receiving Macao students from Hong Kong. During this period, CityU will provide schooling assistance to Macao students studying in Hong Kong.
Students can attend classes in CityU and their credit points will be recorded. For students who are willing to transfer to CityU, CityU will, on the premise of mutual agreement and matched major, receive their transfer application and recognize their credits and achievements during their study in Hong Kong.
CityU will firmly maintain the order of higher education in Macao, create a safe and stable learning environment for students, and continuously contribute to the cultivation of professional talent for Macao and China.
