The Institute of Analytical Psychology of City University of Macau (CityU), the Oriental Academy for Analytical Psychology and the Psychology of Heart have launched the counselling hotline services to offer mental support to people in need during the pandemic outbreak in Macao at a free cost. Professor Shen Heyong of the Institute of Analytical Psychology of CityU is leading the team consisting of volunteers from the “Garden of the Heart and Soul” and the “Morning-glory Psychology Service Program” to provide professional mental assistance. The CityU volunteers have played a key role in supervising workflow, counselling, organisation, and management in the “Morning-glory Psychology Service Program Platform” and the hotline services. The faculty members and students of CityU have joined as volunteers in the public welfare projects for a long course of time. While enhancing professionalism and expertise, they were given opportunities to put knowledge into practice to serve the community through the charitable projects.

The free counselling services (available in Cantonese and Mandarin communications) are open to patients and their family members, workers and volunteers involved in medical services and other preventive work, students, and the general public in Macao. Please refer to the Chinese version for details.
