CityU hosts activities to celebrate May Fourth Youth Day and cultivate patriotism among students

In an effort to deepen students’ understanding of May Fourth Youth Day and foster a sense of patriotism and love for Macao, City University of Macau (CityU) recently organized several activities. These included the Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship and Career Development Seminar and a national flag-raising ceremony held on the Taipa campus. During the seminar, Ms. Li Amber Jiaming, a Macao member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and vice chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, shared her personal experiences and insights on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. She encouraged students to seize the development opportunities and support provided by the nation to pursue their careers and achieve personal growth. The seminar drew about a hundred participants, including CityU management, students, and faculty. Besides, the University organized a group of students to participate in the national flag-raising ceremony, joining members of the local education sector in the symbolic act of expressing their love for their country and Macao.
