To promote the Constitution and law-based development, the 2nd “Law Popularization Cup” Macao Public Speaking Competition co-hosted by the Macao Youth Professional Association and the School of Law of City University of Macau (CityU), took place on 3 December (the eve of National Constitution Day) at the Taipa campus. This year’s theme, “Compliance with Laws and Regulations: the Cornerstone of Ensuring Cybersecurity,” aimed to raise public awareness about the rapid development of the Internet, cybersecurity, data security, and compliance related to artificial intelligence. After a fierce competition, Lei Sam Ut from Pui Ching Middle School, Lei Io Fai from Lou Hau High School, and Ng Pang from Keang Peng School emerged as the winners in the youth group. In the young adult group, CityU student Li Wenjing won first place, Zhao Yiyin won third place, and He Jiaxin and Lu Yonglong received merit awards. This event allowed students to deepen their legal understanding and aimed to nurture future legal talents and promoters of the rule of law.
