CityU in collaboration to organize tourism competition, promoting marine economic development in Zhuhai and Macao

The Zhuhai Agriculture Control Aqua Pasture Co Ltd and the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of the City University of Macau (CityU) organized a tourism research and planning competition to explore tourism resources and development of the Wanshan Archipelago in Zhuhai. The grand final was held at the Taipa campus yesterday.

Before that, ten CityU teams went for a field study at the Wanshan Archipelago. At the grand final, the students shared their marketing ideas for the tourism development of the Wanshan Archipelago. The jury spoke highly of the student's presentation skills and gave valuable suggestions to improve their proposals.

The competition allowed students to widen their knowledge base through hands-on experience and studies. It encouraged students to develop unique marine tourism products and marketing plans based on the blue economy and local charms in the Zhuhai archipelago.
