Mr Ung Choi Kun, honorary president of Macao Innovation and Invention Association (MIIA) and Mr Lai Pak Keong, president of MIIA, visited the City University of Macau yesterday (13). Mr Teng Hung Chi, a renowned inventor, accompanied the group to the Taipa campus. Prof Jun Liu, Rector of the City University of Macau, warmly received the group and held exchanges on youth cultivation in leading innovative thinking, creative practice and intellectual property literacy.
In the meeting, the two parties agreed to develop programmes to nurture students, engage students in related competitions to turn innovative ideas into products. Both parties hope to bridge university and business to incubate students’ inventions to serve society.
