CityU organised the “Healthcare Week” with Regard to Colleagues’ Health

The HR department of CityU organised the “Healthcare Week” from 29 May to 2 June for all staff at the university. Encouraging a balanced diet and daily workout, health care apparatus were provided and a series of health related campaigns were held during the week.

Aside from providing information regarding health and daily stretching at office, representatives from the Labour Affairs Bureau were also invited to give an occupational, safety and health seminar about work-related Upper Limb Musculoskeletal Disorders on 29 May. Moreover, around 70 staff members took part in the 2017 World Challenge Day by working out for 15 minutes on 31 May.

In addition, about 400 fresh fruits were given to staff at the canteen to motivate them to live a healthy life. Meanwhile, healthcare apparatus, body fat scale and sphygmomanometer were also provided at the canteen for staff to monitor their health condition.

Through the above campaigns, it is hoped that our colleagues can find a balance between work and personal health.
