In late June, the university leaders and the admissions team travelled to Guangdong, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Henan and Shandong to attend a series of admissions consultation events for high school students and launched a number of promotional campaigns. During the consultation events, well-known universities from outside the province, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and CityU, came together to provide consultation for students and parents. CityU’s consultation stand was overwhelmed with students and parents inquiring about the admissions. The consultation team replied sincerely and registered for outstanding students as well as giving out offer letters to a few distinguished students. Aside from promoting the higher education of Macau, these admissions events can also enhance the connection between CityU and other universities, which is significant for broadening the admissions platform and advancing collaboration across academies. |
