CityU students bring joy and care to senior citizens through live music performances

The Art Troupe of the City University of Macau (CityU) and a group of PhD students majoring in musicology recently visited a local residential care home – Asilo de Sao Francisco Xavier – and hosted a live music performance show. Professor Dai Dingcheng from the Faculty of Innovation and Design served as the program director for this performance. The repertoire consisted of a combination of Chinese and Western music, featuring solo performances on instruments, vocals, and duets. This diverse selection of music provided the senior audience with an enchanting musical experience. Moreover, through face-to-face interaction, the CityU community conveyed their warm wishes and care to the seniors, creating a meaningful connection between the University and the local university. Among the audience were government officials, heads of the charity associations, coordinators of the Art Troupe.
