Seven students from the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM) of the City University of Macau (CityU) teamed up with students at the University of Macau (UM) and the Nankai University (NKU) to join the 12th National College Students’ Red Tourism Creative Planning Competition. They have gained outstanding achievements at the preliminary stage.
Under the guidance of Prof Li Xi and Assistant Professor Zhang Tao, the team composed of FITM’s undergraduate students Yang Qilian and Huang Tao, master students Yang Yixin and Wu Junyao, UM’s undergraduate Lin Yuru, and NKU’s undergraduate Guan Tenglong won a special grand prize in the southern Chinese region. Their short film “Red Route in Macao” presented a local route of revolutionary sites recorded in the history of the Chinese Communist Party, which helped them win the chance to enter the national final.
