CityU Students Participated in English Language & Cultural Immersion Programs in the US and Canada

International Exchange Office of CityU jointly launched English Language & Cultural Immersion Summer Programs with New Mexico University and Vancouver Island University. In late June and early July, around 40 CityU students from Faculty of Business and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences departed for the two universities to enhance their English proficiency and widen their international perspectives.

During the 4-week programs, CityU students are required to take an 80-hour English course (20 hours/week) and various cross-cultural exchange activities with exchange students from around the globe. Students will receive a certificate issued by the partnership universities after finishing the programs with satisfactory result.

Hosting these programs provide a good beginning for our university to develop international education and exchange onwards. Students participating in these programs are expected to return Macau by the end of July, International Exchange Office will follow up students' learning progress and feedback, in order to provide our students a high-quality learning experience afterwards.
