June marks the beautiful graduation season, and Congregation 2022/2023 will be held on June 17th (Saturday). The graduation photo week will also kick off starting from next Monday! On June 12th (Monday) and 13th (Tuesday), CityU will provide graduation photo taking services for the Class of 2023, and several check-in spots for graduation photos will be set up on campus. Everyone is welcome to join and capture their graduation moments, making unforgettable memories at CityU!
To-Do Checklist: What to Prepare
How to Wear Your Academic Regalia
- Top: Simple white shirt with a black tie.
- Bottom: Black trousers for gentlemen and black trousers or black skirt for ladies.
- Shoes: Wear black leather shoes; avoid sport shoes.
- Gown: Use clips to secure your gown and the velvet stripe.
- Tassel & Cap: Place your tassel so that it hangs on the left side of your face. Use hair clips to secure your cap.
Warm Reminder for Graduation Photo Shooting:
Students are advised to ensure that the velvet stripe is properly placed and to check that their hair is not covering their eyes. Additionally, please make sure that the tassel is hung on the left side.
Rules to follow!
- Students should pay attention to the assembly time and information issued by their respective faculty, and gather on time and in an orderly manner, following arrangements and instructions given by the on-site staff.
- Please take care of your personal belongings. Personal belongings should be stored in the student lounge and retrieve them after the shooting is completed.
- Please follow the dressing requirements of the academic regalia. Those who do wear proper attire will not be allowed to participate in the photo shooting.
