The City University of Macau was among the top 100 universities on the 2020 ShanghaiRanking’s list of Top Universities in Greater China released recently and ranked 89. ShanghaiRanking is one of the four major ranking institutions and its Ranking of Top Universities in Greater China was first released in 2001. This ranking adopts 13 indicators representing four broad categories, namely Education, Research, Faculty and Resources, and lists the top 100 research universities in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR.
In addition, the Hospitality & Tourism Management programs offered by CityU was listed on the “2020 ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects” and ranked among the top 20% of higher institutions globally in the Hospitality & Tourism Management category.
This time, the City University of Macau was ranked among the top 100 universities in Greater China. It demonstrates the education approaches and vitality of a metropolitan university.
