Deputy Director of Católica Global School of Law Gonçalo Saraiva Matias visited CityU. He was warmly received by Rector Shu Guang Zhang, Secretary General of Council Robert Chan, Chief Curriculum Coordinator of Faculty of Law Li Hongjiang and Associate Professor of Faculty of Law Ai Linzhi and they conducted a discussion. During the discussion, Rector Zhang expressed his heartfelt welcome and appreciation for the rapid advancement of Católica Global School of Law. He wished that the two universities can collaborate and exchange in areas such as academic, educators and curriculum construction. Being the first university to establish a Master degree in Law, Deputy Director Matias explained the ethos and characteristics of Católica Global School of Law as well as introducing the relevant courses. Assured by the system of cooperation, both parties exchanged opinions on future collaboration such as curriculum construction and exchange between students and educators. With its area of focus on the investigation and internship of law, political systems, culture and language, summer exchange courses for Law and Research on Portuguese-speaking countries have been planned. A double degree Bachelor course is also under construction for nurturing professionals in Macau. Founded in 2009, Católica Global School of Law assists students on their path of international law career, raises their expertise and strives to become the most innovative law school.
