Dr. Eva Khong described to the Team the content and specializations of the FOB degree programmes. Team members agreed with the recent emphasis on the combination of “Enterprise, Education and Research”. They encouraged the faculty to maintain training practical and research talents as the principal target of the programme. They also suggested that the faculty should establish and emphasize its unique specializations, to distinguish itself from other universities. The team members believed that the content of Business Administration and Applied Economics should keep abreast of modern developments, comprehending The Belt and Road Initiative, the Bay Area vision, and other current policies or projects, which will provide the foundations to widen students' vision. Meanwhile, the subjects of Global Human Resource Development, International Business Investigation, The World Economy and Its Risks, International Relationships, NGO Management, Economic Technology, Green Economics, Enterprise Strategy, and others should be included in Business Administration and Applied Economics programmes. Doing so will increase their effectiveness in educating talents in these fields. On the other hand, continuously improving programmes, by such measures as adding Operations Research and related subjects, would be helpful in terms of boosting students' critical and creative thinking and broadening their diversified development.

Dr. Eva Khong thanked all present for attending the first meeting of the FOB Quality Assurance Team and offering so many valuable opinions. This will be extremely helpful in terms of the quality improvement and future development of FOB programmes.
