Ponte 16 Macau recently held a recognition ceremony for the Outstanding Staff Award at the Poolside banquet hall of Sofitel Macau, awarding staff members who showed excellent performance in the fourth season of 2013. Twenty three employees from the frontline and back offices won the award.
The award ceremony aimed at encouraging staff members in building excellent service culture with the company, further promoting the spirit of Ponte 16 and providing better customer service. Managers of every department of Ponte 16 Resort Macau and Vice Rector of City University, Prof. Aliana Leong, presented the ceremony on invitation. The award winners were awarded certificates of merit, cash of Mop 500, a free room at the Sofitel or two buffet coupons at the Mistral Sea Breeze restaurant. The awards allowed winners to experience the hotel and delicacies of the company they serve so they would know the company better and feel a stronger sense of connection to the company.
The award winners were praised by managers for their outstanding service and working attitude and were encouraged to keep on their good work. They were also expected to continue on their professional growth and to serve as examples for other staff members with their quality service and enthusiasm.
Nine of the award winners—Kong D.Z, Lin Z.J, Ye W.Q, He J.Y, Mei W.Q, Zhuang X, Wu Z.C, Dong Z.N and Lin J.H were bachelor and master interns at the FITM. They were sent into different departments as interns within two years, gained practical working experiences and admiration from the management. Vice Rector Aliana Leong was delighted to see their performance and encouraged nearly a hundred interns at Ponte 16 to work harder and perform better in the industry and education combination plan. She also expressed her appreciation for the support of the management.
