Her action research explained the profound connotation of the teaching concept of "teaching less and learning more" and its application in university classroom teaching.
Finally, Academic Registrar Sean Li extended gratitude to the experts and scholars for the knowledge feast of the academic frontier and highly praised the action research results of the research teams of CityU. Academic Registrar Li noted that to do research, teaching academic personnel should start from studying one of their own courses or even one class. Through the academic teaching reflection process, good habits of academic research and the spirit of scientific research would be formed. Academic status should be given to teaching and the integration and development of science and education should be realized.
With the full support of the Macao Foundation, Academic Registrar Li led various teaching teams to carry out research on teaching reform and innovative actions. Six action research groups had been set up in all faculties and institutes to seriously carry out teaching action research based on university classroom in the 2017-2018 academic year, with fruitful results. In this way, the teaching reform and innovation achievement sharing seminar and teaching academic report conference were held to help our teaching reform and innovation and improve our teachers' teaching academic capabilities.
