The Ceremony for the Conferment of Honorary Degree and the Congregation 2024/2025 (for doctoral and master’s degrees) will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, while the Congregation for Conferment of Bachelor’s Degree will be held on May 21-22 (Wednesday and Thursday) at the Culture Centre of the Taipa Campus. Approximately 3,000 graduates from doctoral, master's and bachelor's programs will participate in the ceremonies. The events will be attended by government officials, members of the University Foundation and University Council, university management, faculty members, distinguished guests, families and friends, all joining to celebrate this joyous occasion. The ceremonies will be livestreamed. Families, friends, and members of the public are welcome to scan the QR code below to watch the online broadcast.

Dear graduates, congratulations! It is your graduation day. Please note the following matters when attending your congregation:
01 Transportation and Entry
- On the day of the event, please pay attention to weather conditions and make travel preparations in advance.
- Please follow the faculty’s instructions and the guidance of on-site staff to enter the ceremony venue on time and in an orderly manner.
02 Tips for Wearing Graduation Gowns
- Inner Layer of the Graduation Gown: It is recommended to keep the inner wear simple and fresh. Please choose a plain white shirt and wear a black tie.
- Bottom Wear with the Graduation Gown: Male graduates should wear black long trousers, while female graduates may wear black long trousers or a black skirt.
- Footwear: Please wear black leather shoes (female graduates may wear black high-heeled shoes without open toes). Sports shoes are not allowed.
- Graduation Gown: To keep the graduation gown looking neat, graduates may bring safety pins to fasten the colored shoulder straps to the main gown.
- Graduation Cap: Position the tassel at the midpoint of the front-left side of the cap brim, allowing it to hang naturally. To prevent the cap from slipping, female students may bring hairpins to secure it. Note: Please strictly adhere to the dress code for graduation gowns. Those who fail to meet the relevant requirements will not be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.
03 Personal Belongings
- Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion does not provide an area for luggage storage. Please do not bring large items into the venue, and it is recommended to carry only a small number of personal belongings.
- A stage card must be prepared to go on stage to receive the certificate.
Graduation Photo Shooting
The graduation photo session for the academic year 2024/2025 will be held on May 19 (Monday), at the Culture Centre of the Taipa Campus, with morning and afternoon sessions. Graduates are requested to attend on time as per the faculty’s instructions. During the shooting, please wear the graduation gown and graduation cap in accordance with the “Tips for Wearing Graduation Gowns”.
Additionally, to facilitate graduates in taking photos, the University has set up photo spots at the rooftop garden of the Administrative Building, the platform garden of Tai Fung Building, and various locations across the Taipa Campus. From now until May 28 (Wednesday), you may take photos at these spots to capture your memories.

Graduation Dinner
The graduation dinner 2025 will be held on May 20 (Tuesday), at 18:30, in the ballroom of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. Tickets will be available for purchase until May 15 (Thursday). Students interested in attending the dinner are advised to purchase tickets as soon as possible.
