On September 15th, vice rector from Guangzhou Medical University, Ding Yuanlin, and his delegation visited City University of Macau. Rector Zhang Shuguang, Secretary General of Council Mr. Chan Chon Pat and Academic Registrar Mr. Li Shuying welcomed them. Rector Zhang extended his warm and sincere welcome to the leaders from Guangzhou Medical University and gave a brief introduction to the higher education system in Macau and the general condition of City University of Macau. Then, Vice Rector Ding introduced the school running condition of Guangdong Medical University to leaders from City University of Macau. He expressed that he wishes to push forward the exchange and communication between the two universities, especially the exchange and internship in humanistic management faculty, information engineering faculty and foreign language faculty, as well as the academic exchanges between teachers. Rector Zhang suggested that the two universities can set up cooperation framework and start up cooperation project in terms of scientific research and aging research. Leaders from Guangzhou Medical University sincerely hope that both the two universities can jointly built the scientific research platform and draw up the plan for recommending outstanding graduates to receive postgraduate or doctoral students without taking exams, so as to jointly cultivate internationalized talents in the fields of humanistic society, tourism, hotel management, applied psychology and clinical psychology.
