~Vice Rector of City U, Prof. Aliana Leong, and Assistant Dean of FITM, Dr. Li Xi, Visited Zhaoqing University upon the invitation of Secretary Zeng H.S and Rector He F on 26 May 2014 to discuss deepening cooperation between the two institutions. The delegation led by Prof. Aliana Leong was warmly welcomed by the officials of Zhaoqing University. Prominent leaders of the International Office, Academic Office, Scientific Research Office and Deans of Tourism College and Education College attended the meeting. Secretary Zeng H.S thanked Prof. Aliana Leong for her hospitality when the delegation from Zhaoqing University visited City U. He also expressed hoped the two universities would realize deeper cooperation and mutual development on the basis of the cooperation framework agreement signed last year. Prof. Aliana Leong thanked the warm invitation and thoughtful arrangement made by Zhaoqing University and proposed suggestions and directions for cooperation. After friendly exchanges and discussions, the two parties refined teaching and scientific research cooperation projects and signed a framework agreement of co-building the Guangdong Province Education Research Center. After the meeting, Prof. Aliana Leong spoke and discussed the Development of International Tourism Education and its Revelation to Macau. She further discussed with students some Tourism Education related academic topics.
