Rector Jun Liu shares insights on International Chinese Language Education at Language Education and Cooperation Forum

The 2022 International Chinese Language Education Conference was inaugurated recently in Beijing under the theme of "Building New Landscape, Pursuing Higher Quality.” The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of the Ministry of Education. Vice Premier Sun Chunlan delivered the keynote speech at the event. Professor Jun Liu, Rector of the City University of Macau, delivered a keynote address at the parallel forum – Language Education and Cooperation Forum and shared his insights on promoting Chinese Language Education in an international context.

The annual conference drew more than 1,800 participants from over 90 countries and regions, including representatives from public departments, educational institutions, enterprises, and Chinese language educational centers.
