Ruan Xiaohong, member of Standing Committee of Nansha District, and delegation visit CityU to promote GBA development

A delegation led by Ruan Xiaohong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Nansha District and chairwoman of the Overseas Friendship Association, visited City University of Macau (CityU) today. The visit included a tour of the Taipa Campus and a meeting with CityU Vice Rector Ip Kuai Peng, Council Member Cintia Chan, and faculty members. Discussions focused on exploring potential collaborations between the Nansha District in Guangzhou and CityU.

Going forward, the two sides hope to leverage CityU Alumni Association to attract more resources to Nansha District, promote industry development leveraging Macao as a platform, and learn from each other’s experiences. Furthermore, they will utilize CityU’s Institute for Research on Portugues-Speaking Countries as a platform to deepen cooperation and development between Guangdong, Macao, and Portuguese-speaking countries.
