Presented by the Chiu Yeng Cultural and Creative Industry Association, the “Y Show” co-organized by Chiii Design Ltd. brings together outstanding works of recent Macao's design graduates and overseas design graduates to showcase different cultural backgrounds. It also provides a platform for young designers in Macao to show and communicate, to inspire design and creation, and promote the integration of art and cultures between Macao and the world. Meanwhile, well-known Macao’s and overseas designers were invited to serve as the international jury to select the Top Ten awards and other awards, and to commend and encourage students to commit themselves to creation.
In addition, the exhibition stresses “commercial elements and providing young creative talents a chance to connect with Macao enterprises”. With youth entrepreneurship as the focus, it provides entrepreneurs with more platforms and provides job seekers with more choices, so as to vigorously promote the interconnection of emerging industries and traditional industries, and the moderate diversification of industries. It also supports emerging industries to enhance their own advantages and enhance competitiveness.
