The City University of Macau organized a series of Mother’s Day activities on 8 May, including “Giving out Flowers by University Leaders on Campus” and “Staff Workshop on Flower Handcraft”. School leaders thanked staff on behalf of the University for their efforts at epidemic prevention during the Coronavirus epidemic and on class resumption arrangements.
University leaders and related representatives visited all Faculties/Schools and administrative departments and present flower gift boxes to staff members who are mothers to thank them for the support they gave to the University in fighting the epidemic and for their contributions at work and to their families. In addition, the University has organized a workshop on flower handcraft. Attendants learned how to wrap up a bouquet of flowers and give a unique present they made to family members. This series of Mother’s Day activities are meaningful and memorable. It was hoped that staff members knew how the University cared about them. Staff members were touched and grateful for the thoughtful behavior.
CityU has always been people oriented and places emphasis on the mental and physical wellbeing and health of our staff, who are members of the University family. During the Covid-19 epidemic, the University It took the opportunity to send its colleagues and their family members best wishes.
