Wang Yueqin, Director of Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, leads delegation to CityU to expand exchange and cooperation

A delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, led by Director Wang Yueqin, visited City University of Macau. They were warmly received by Vice Rectors Zhou Wanlei and Ip Kuai Peng. The delegation inspected the “Sino-Portugal Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Science of Cultural Heritage Conservation (Belt and Road Joint Laboratory)” and data science laboratories. Dr. Huang Guang, the Director of the Joint Laboratory, expressed interest in establishing a joint laboratory for marine heritage conservation in partnership with the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai). Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei proposed the idea of a joint laboratory for data-driven decision-making research and application. Director Wang Yueqin praised the research centers and its interdisciplinary applications. She emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration, strengthening talent cultivation, and promoting mutual visits and exchanges to advance educational technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and contribute to its development.
