Warm & diverse campus culture: CityU organizes activities to celebrate the Christmas season

Christmas is around the corner! To celebrate the festival, the City University of Macau (CityU) organized an array of festive activities to build a diverse campus culture.

To encourage green living among residential students, the Student Affairs Office (SAO) held a DIY Christmas Tree Workshop on the campus. Rather than using plastic ornaments, students in this workshop decorated their own Christmas trees with dry fruit slides, preserved flowers, and natural cypress leaves. By participating in this workshop, students were able to put the concept of eco-friendliness into practice and stimulate their creativity.

The Human Resources Office (HRO) held a DIY Aroma Candle Workshop for staff to enjoy a warm Christmas. Festive ornaments and over 30 types of aroma oil were provided for staff and their family members to tailor-make their own scented oil candle. As a result of this workshop, staff had the opportunity to exchange ideas with one another outside of the office, strengthening team spirit at work.

In accordance with government anti-epidemic measures, CityU reminded all participants to wear masks at all events and provided alcohol sanitizers to ensure everyone's safety and health.

In addition to maintaining a people-centric culture, CityU cares about the mental and physical health of its members. The University actively promotes extra-curricular activities to encourage students to develop their hobbies outside the classrooms and encourage work-life balance among its staff. Through an array of activities, CityU wishes you all a Merry Christmas!
