To welcome the Spring Festival, City University of Macau (CityU) has organized a series of celebratory activities. These activities aim to create a joyous and harmonious festival atmosphere for faculty, students, and staff, enrich campus culture, and enhance cohesion and unity within the University community.

Recently, the Student Affairs Office (SAO) of CityU held the “New Year Gift-Giving Aactivity” and the “New Year Spring Couplet Workshop”. During the activities, Chao Chan Chong, head of SAO, visited the student dormitories, presented exquisite new year gifts to the residential students, and extended sincere Spring Festival blessings. The spring couplet workshop invited experienced calligraphy artists to teach students the proper techniques for holding and using the brush, as well as how to write beautiful spring couplets. Participating students created their own unique “Fu” Chinese characters – symbolizing blessings, and immersed themselves in the rich festive atmosphere.
