The "Achieve Win-Win in Smart Bay Area" Recruitment Promotional Seminar of Panyu District in Guangzhou for CityU was held on October 11 at the Ho Yin Convention Centre of CityU. More than 80 teachers and students attended the event. Huo Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Panyu District CPC Committee of Guangzhou Municipality, and the Director of the Organization Department of the District CPC Committee, Luo Wenxian, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of and Director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Li Yong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of and Director of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau, explained the industrial talent policy of Panyu District and answered students’ questions one by one.

Relevant policies include “Panyu District Innovation and Entrepreneur Leading Talents Introduction Support System”, “Industry Leading Talent Contribution Award System”, “Strengthening the Innovative Talent Resources Cooperation and Development System of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center” and “High Level Talent Service Guarantee System”.

At the seminar, Director Li Yong also shared the successful cases of talent introduction, innovation and entrepreneurship in Panyu District, and introduced the “Blue Plan” for the entrepreneurship of college students and young teachers through the demonstration of practical cases. He also expected that the students and young teachers would excel their teachers and masters.

The "Achieve Win-Win in Smart Bay Area" Recruitment Promotional Seminar aims to attract young talents from Hong Kong and Macao to Panyu District for innovation and entrepreneurship, and firmly seize the opportunities to build Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into world-leading bay area and world-class urban agglomerations and seek common development.
