In 2023, the City University of Macau (CityU) actively responded to the national strategy of building a great country of education and aligned itself with the goal of enhancing the quality of talent cultivation and fostering top-notch innovative individuals. The university continuously optimized its educational conditions by increasing investments in both hardware and software facilities. It also focused on improving the construction of the teaching staff, promoting management system reforms, and enhancing the quality of teaching. Furthermore, the university expanded its scale of education and introduced new programs in response to social development and industry needs. With a dedicated focus on the comprehensive development of students, CityU aimed to serve society with the achievements of industry-academia collaboration and accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system that embodies the “Macao Characteristics, China Soul, Global Vision.” The university aimed to cultivate innovative and versatile high-end talents through high-quality interdisciplinary education.
