During the study trip, the students stayed at and visited the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort and the Mandarin Oriental, Sanya. These two hotels, known for their exceptional service and unique brand charm, provided students with a valuable opportunity for learning and experience. They not only observed and learned about the daily operations and management of the hotels, but also had face-to-face interactions with hotel staff, gaining a deeper understanding of the industrial know-how of luxury brand management and development trends.

The study trip also invited senior management from the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort and the Mandarin Oriental, Sanya to give special lectures and share their experiences with the students. From their own professional perspectives, these industry veterans provided interpretations of the core values of luxury brands and how to create brand charm through refined management and innovative strategies in a competitive market environment.

In addition, the students also visited the Sanya Agile Clearwater Bay Marina and experienced various luxury yachts and sailboats, giving them a firsthand experience of the diversification and high-end nature of the luxury brand industry, as well as broadening their professional perspectives and expanding their thinking.

The Master of International Hotel Management program, with its unique teaching model and rich practical activities, has received positive feedback from students. Through this field research and study trip, the students not only enhanced their knowledge and skills in hotel management, but also gained a greater understanding and passion for the luxury brand industry, providing them with motivation for their future studies and careers.

The Faculty of International Tourism and Management, FITM, has always been dedicated to cultivating hotel management professionals with an international perspective, professional skills, and practical abilities.
