On behalf of CityU, Rector Liu expressed his heartfelt appreciation to frontline members and volunteers who worked together in this battle to fight against the COVID-19 virus and protect the city with love at this critical moment. He once again encouraged all CityU’s volunteers to continue to play their roles in the team when the community needed them, carry forward the spirit of community service, build up the defence line against the pandemic, and devote a part of CityU’s contributions to the battle against the COVID-19 virus.
Calls
We urge all students and staff to take COVID-19 preventive measures introduced by the SAR government, get vaccinations as soon as possible, reduce mobility, maintain good health self-management, and seek medical consultation once feeling unwell.
Stay strong, Macao! We are confident that the city will be safe in this battle under the umbrella of the support of all residents and the selfless dedication of the volunteers. Let’s curb the spreading and protect Macao!
