The City University of Macau (CityU) will hold the Ceremony for Conferment of Honorary Degree and Congregation 2022/2023 at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion on June 17th, 10:00a.m. Over 1,600 doctoral, master's, and bachelor's students will receive their graduation certificates during this event. Government officials, members of the University Foundation and University Council, University leaders, faculty, family, and friends will be present to witness this precious moment. Please pay attention to the following items and be prepared for the ceremony.
Transportation and Entering Venue
- Pay attention to weather and arrange your transportation in advance.
- Follow instruction given by on-site staff and enter the venue in a orderly manner.
How to Wear Your Academic Regalia
- Top: Simple white shirt with a black tie.
- Bottom: Black trousers for gentlemen and black trousers or black skirt for ladies.
- Shoes: Wear black leather shoes; avoid sport shoes.
- Gown: Use clips to secure your gown and the velvet stripe.
- Tassel & Cap: Place your tassel so that it hangs on the left side of your face. Use hair clips to secure your cap.
Warm Reminder
Students must wear proper attire and academic regalia that meet the dress code requirements. Those who violate the dress code requirements will not be allowed to attend the congregation.
Personal Belongings
- Please do not bring large items as there is no check-in area for luggage in the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.
- Name card should be presented in order to receive the certificate on stage.
